Oh Allah, keep them steadfast on the path of Eman
And grant them the highest ranks in Paradise
Just as you gifted them the guidance of the Qur’an
Guided…. through the Qur’an

He fasted during Ramadan, before entering Islam
And he prayed many times… before being Muslim too
He entered Islam young..
Our story today is with Ameen, from Netherlands
He fasted during Ramadan before being Muslim
that has given him strength of Eman
and purified his intentions
So, it was easier for him to stop doing some sins
thing that are normally done at the western communities
This is a message to Non-Muslims…
Live the experience first..
Try it, it is a good experience..
When Allah SWT set about the practice of fasting..
He didn’t aim to make people suffer, Glory to Allah.
Not to deprive them from food..
Fasting provokes feelings and interactions with others…
It stimulates purity of the soul to express itself..
It prompts clearness of the minds

There are so many good traits in Islam
What Ameen liked most about these traits was..
Purification!
Was it the cleanness?…..exactly!
‘By the merciful guidance of my Lord’
‘The beauty covers the spring of my heart’
‘And turns my feelings and my path green’
‘Even how I look, all that is because of the guidance’
Allah SWT says:
“Allah loves those who are constantly repentant and loves those who purify themselves.”
Imagine that..
When you purify yourself…
you get love from Allah SWT and forgiveness of the sins!
So, when you do ablution..
the sins drop off his body with the water drops!
Let’s reflect upon the verse..
I have a suggestion..
don’t go to sleep…or to bed… before..
doing ablution…purification!
This action is easy to do..
But when you wake up later..
Allah SWT sends you an angel to pray for your forgiveness
‘Oh Allah, keep me steadfast on the righteous path’
‘Because what I fear most’
‘is the to have a bad ending tomorrow’
‘Guided through the Qur’an’

Once, Ameen and his friend, Abo-Bakr were invited to a Muslim gathering
Ameen was the only Non-Muslim among them!
So, as an action of wisdom, Abo-Bakr convinced Ameen to hold a speech to the Muslim group!
to preach them!
Glory to Allah, He said I felt very strange to do that!
The time when Ameen said the shahada was very special an unique
It was at 3 o’clock,early on the morning.
‘The path seemed filled with thorns’
‘Until it was quenched with the morning moist’
‘So did the heart that pleased You’
‘..oh Allah, when it absorbed Your guidance’
‘Oh You, who descended the Qur’an’
‘As brightness upon Ahmad’
‘I felt peacefulness when the clarity began’
‘Oh Allah, keep me steadfast on the righteous path’
If you have a bag with you..
full of diamonds and gold..
are you going to neglect guarding it?
would you neglect keeping an eye on it?
would you drop it any where?
This is your Islam…your treasure, Muslim brothers!
“Say, ‘I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,'”
“The Sovereign of mankind.”
“The God of mankind,”
“From the evil of the retreating whisperer ”
“Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind”
The Fitrah of Allah [the original nature] is there, inside of all human beings
This good fitrah expresses itself at disasters..
and when man works his mind properly.
Without looking back to what his ancestors believed.
and sensibly work his mind…
a man will end up that Islam is the good fitrah
Allah SWT says a great verse:
“So direct your face toward the religion, inclining to truth.”
“[Adhere to] the fitrah of Allah”
“upon which He has created [all] people.”
“No change should there be in the creation of Allah .”
“That is the correct religion,”
” but most of the people do not know.”
‘I lived with the habit of doing mistakes routinely’
‘But I never found happiness’
‘Till finally I discovered the worship’
‘How relieved I became when I am on the right path’
Sheikh Ameen, Ma’sha’Allah, praise to the entirely merciful
I see you always have the Book of Allah SWT with you where ever you go!
