Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa\u00a0foretold in Psalm 45<\/h3>\n

Psalm 45 is also one of the prophecies foretelling about Muhammad\u00a0 not Jesus (Peace be upon them). To prove this, we can look at the prophecy itself:<\/p>\n

Psalms 45:3 Gird your sword upon your thigh, O mighty one, your glory and your majesty.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Muhammad \ufdfa fought God\u2019s enemies, while Jesus (Peace be upon him) said:<\/p>\n

John 18:11\u00a0Jesus therefore said unto Peter,\u00a0Put up the sword into the sheath:\u00a0<\/strong>the cup which the Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Some may refer this to his second coming, so let\u2019s continue on:<\/p>\n

Psalms 45:8 All your garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia; Out of ivory palaces stringed instruments have made you glad.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Muhammad \ufdfa ruled and received gifts from Egyptian ruler, and from Heraclius, while Jesus (Peace be upon him) didn\u2019t rule, nor did he receive gifts.<\/p>\n

Psalms 45:9 Kings\u2019 daughters are among your honorable women: At your right hand doth stand the queen in gold of Ophir.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Psalm 45 foretelling Marriage of Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa\u00a0from Safiyya<\/h3>\n

Christians believe that Jesus (Peace be upon him) didn’t marry either kings’ daughters or other women, but Muhammad \ufdfa married 2 daughters of Arab leaders, and after his death, his descendent Al Hussein married the daughter of the last Persian king.<\/p>\n

10 Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; Forget also thine own people, and thy father’s house: Psa 45:11 So will the king desire thy beauty; For he is thy lord; and reverence thou him. (Psalm 45:10-11)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This daughter is Safiyya daughter of Hoyay ibn Akhtab, this man was one of the Jewish leaders who fought Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa, and then Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa\u00a0married her.<\/p>\n

Saffiyah says, “I was my father’s and my uncle’s favorite daughter. When the Messenger of Allah came to Madinah and stayed at Quba, my parents went to him at night and when they looked disconcerted and worn out. I received them cheerfully but to my surprise no one of them turned to me. They were so grieved that they did not feel my presence. I heard my uncle, Abu Yasir, saying to my father, ‘Is it really him (the final prophet) ?’ He said, ‘Yes, by Allah’. My uncle said: ‘Can you recognize him and confirm this?’ He said, ‘Yes’. My uncle said, ‘How do you feel towards him?’ He said, ‘By Allah I shall be his enemy as long as I live.'” (Ibn Hisham, As-Sirah an-Nabawiyyah)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Hoyayy has been one of the worst enemies of Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa that he betrayed the pact with him and tried to murder him, then when he was exiled from Medina because of that he charged the Arabs and collected a huge army to besiege Medina and invade it, then during the siege of Medina he instigated the Jews inside Medina to betray Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa and open their district to Arab armies to enter Medina. At the end Hoyayy was defeated and killed in this battle.<\/p>\n

Then Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa defeated the husband of Safiyya in the battle of Khaibar, and then he married Safiyya. At the beginning \u00a0before he marries her she used to hate him because he killed her father and her husband, the Prophet \ufdfa\u00a0kept on apologizing to her and saying:\u201d Your father charged the Arabs against me and committed heinous act,\u201d he apologized to the extent that made Safiyyah get rid of her bitterness against the Prophet \ufdfa\u201d as mentioned by Al Bayhaqi in Dalael Al Nobowwa and even she chose Islam afterwards and to marry Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa over living with her Jewish people, as narrated by Ibn Hibban and Ibn Saad.<\/p>\n

Objection by Christians<\/h3>\n

Christians usually object saying that this Psalm tells about the Messiah, and give the script:<\/p>\n

Psalms 45:6 your throne, O God, is for ever and ever: A sceptre of equity is the sceptre of your kingdom. 7 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated wickedness: Therefore God, your God, hath anointed you\u00a0 With the oil of gladness above your fellows.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Actually when the Psalm says \u201cO God\u201d, this wasn\u2019t directed to the one being foretold here.\u00a0It\u2019s rather a praise to God. Then it came in verse 7, and retold about Muhammad \ufdfa, and it\u2019s very clear when it says \u201c. Therefore God, your God hath anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.\u201d this clearly tells that the Messiah is not God, the word Messiah doesn\u2019t necessarily mean Jesus (Peace be upon him), but it means the anointed man as mentioned in 2Sa 1:14 concerning Saul.<\/p>\n

2Samuel 1:14 And David said unto him, How wast thou not afraid to put forth your hand to destroy Jehovah\u2019s anointed?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This word for anointed is:<\/p>\n

H4899 ma\u0302shi\u0302yach maw-shee\u2019-akh<\/p>\n

From H4886; anointed; usually a consecrated person (as a king, priest, or saint); specifically the Messiah: \u2013 anointed, Messiah. (Source here<\/a>)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
