Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201c Verily, in the body there is a piece of flesh which if upright then the entire body will be upright, and if corrupt then the entire body will be corrupt. Verily, it is the heart.”<\/p>Bukhari and Muslim<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
2.The acceptance of the work in front of Allah depends on the attendance of the heart<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A person may offer a prayer and nothing of it is recorded for him except one tenth of it, one ninth of it, one eighth of it, one seventh of it, one sixth of it, one fifth of it, one quarter of it, one third of it, or half of it.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>Classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami\u2018 (1626)<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
One’s deeds may not be accepted at all if his heart has impurities such as showing off or hypocrisy.
The worshipping should be sincerely to Allah Alone. Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\u201cAllaah does not accept any deed except that which is done only for Him and to seek His Countenance.\u201d<\/p>Narrated by al-Nasaa\u2019i, 3140; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah, 52.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
He \ufdfa also said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Verily, the reward of deeds depends on the intentions, and each person will be rewarded according to what he intended. So, he whose migration is for the sake of Allah and His Messenger, then his migration is for the sake of Allah and His Messenger, and he whose migration is to achieve some worldly gain or to take some woman in marriage, then his migration is for that for which he migrated.”<\/p>Bukhai and Muslim<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
3. The acceptance of supplication depends on the heart<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cCall upon Allah, being certain of a response, and know that Allah will not answer a supplication from a negligent and heedless heart.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>This hadith was classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh at-Tirmidhi.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
4. A living heart is a guide to a servant to do good and leave evil<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cRighteousness is good morals and sinfulness is what your heart is not at ease with and you hate that people know about it.\u201d<\/p>Muslim<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
5. Surviving in the day of judgment depends on heart<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Allah says in the Quran:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cAnd do not disgrace me on the Day all will be resurrected {87}<\/p>
the Day when neither wealth nor children will be of any benefit. {88} Only those who come before Allah with a pure heart will be saved. \u201c<\/p>Chapter 37<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
6. The smallest impurity in the heart could be fatal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
An example of these impurities can be the arrogance. Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u200f”Anyone has an atom’s weight of arrogance in his heart will not enter Paradise.”<\/p>Muslim<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
Another example as well is getting away from Remembering of God and not responding to His messages. Allah says in the Quran:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u200f\u201cBut whoever turns away from My Reminder will certainly have a miserable life,1 then We will raise them up blind on the Day of Judgment.\u201d<\/p>Holy Quran 19:131<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
7. Neglecting purification darkens heart and hardens it<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Allah says in the Quran:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIndeed, We have destined many jinn and humans for Hell. They have hearts they do not understand with, eyes they do not see with, and ears they do not hear with. They are like cattle. In fact, they are even less guided! Such \u02f9people\u02fa are \u02f9entirely\u02fa heedless.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>Quran 7: 179<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
8. Faith Integrity is based on heart.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“A slave\u2019s faith will not be upright unless his heart is upright, and his heart will not be upright unless his tongue is upright.”<\/p>Narrated by Ahmad<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
9. Pondering and getting Benefits of the revelations of God is based on the heart<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Allah says in the Quran:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u200fHave they not travelled throughout the land so their hearts may reason, and their ears may listen? Indeed, it is not the eyes that are blind, but it is the hearts in the chests that grow blind.<\/p>Holy Quran 22:46<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
Allah Also says :<\/p>\n\n\n\n
