If you came to a Christian and asked\u00a0him: \u00ab\u00a0Was Jesus a Muslim?\u00a0\u00bb. He may stare at you and say: \u00a0\u00bb Are you kidding me? Of course not.\u00a0Jesus is a Jew who came 600 years before Islam.\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0Although Muslims simply consider that Jesus is a Muslim, Christians feel offended by this statement.<\/p>\n

All Prophets are Muslims<\/h2>\n

This is because they don’t understand what Muslims say about Jesus. Muslims believe that Jesus as well as all other prophets are Muslims. This is because they all have one belief. All the prophets were sent from God. All of them told people to worship God alone and abstain from worshipping any other false gods. This is the message of all prophets. And this is Islam. God says in the Quran:<\/p>\n

And We sent not before you any messenger except that We revealed to him that, \u201cThere is no deity except Me, so worship Me.<\/strong>\u201d (Holy Quran 21:25)<\/p>\n

All prophets recognize each other and testify for each other, because simply they are paternal brothers. All prophets have one religion although they may have different laws. This is because laws may change according to the circumstances and environment. But belief in God is one belief. So we may see prophets having different laws. But it is impossible that they have different beliefs.<\/p>\n

\"Jesus<\/a><\/p>\n

Jesus is Muslim<\/h2>\n

Jesus’ main message was to tell people that there is only one God. Jesus never said that he is God<\/a>.\u00a0Jesus never mentions the Trinity, Jesus says that he is a man and son of man, while the Old Testament says that God is neither a man nor the son of man.\u00a0Jesus says that the Father is his God.<\/p>\n

All prophets are coming from one source. All of them took revelation from God. That’s why a Muslim should believe in all prophets. Because if a Muslim disbelieved in a Jesus or any other prophet, then he is actually disbelieving in all prophets. The Quran says:<\/p>\n

Indeed, those who disbelieve in\u00a0All\u0101h\u00a0and His messengers and wish to discriminate between\u00a0All\u0101h\u00a0and His messengers and say, \u00ab\u00a0We believe in some and disbelieve in others,\u00a0\u00bb and wish to adopt a way in between \u2013Those are the disbelievers, truly. And We have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating punishment. But they who believe in\u00a0All\u0101h\u00a0and His messengers and do not discriminate between any of them \u2013 to those He is going to give their rewards. And ever is\u00a0All\u0101h\u00a0Forgiving and Merciful.<\/strong> (Holy Quran 4:150)<\/p>\n
